ReVolt Pro-S1 Battery Restoration System

The ReVolt Pro-S1 has not been available since 2022. Production can be resumed, but supporting it was deemed impractical: most owners did not know enough about batteries in general to operate the unit properly, which produced a high volume of support calls about battery knowledge rather than about the machine's operation. The only form of it still available is the ReVolt AuGoose E4, offered solely to licensed ReVolt Battery Exchange buyers for the shops they intend to open. Those licences include up to a month of operations training for the buyer.
ReVolt Pro-S1 restores useful power to a single dead or weak lead-acid automotive or 12-volt battery. It runs the same restoration technology used at ReVolt Battery Exchange, where it has processed more than 10,000 batteries.
What it fixes
Nearly every dead or weak battery falls into one of three conditions, covered in full on the technology page: it will not accept a charge, it will not hold a charge, or it runs weak under load. The Pro-S1 is built to address all three in most 12-volt lead-acid batteries between 1 and 100 pounds, typically within 4 to 40 hours.
How to use it
- Make sure the battery terminals are clean. If the battery is still in the vehicle, disconnect the negative terminal first.
- Attach the Pro-S1 leads to the positive and negative terminals.
- Start the Revive function from the front panel.
- Wait 4 to 40 hours for the unit to signal that the battery tested successfully or failed.
- If it tested successfully, load-test or use-test the battery before returning it to service. If it failed, either discard the battery or try the cycle again.
Built for repeat use
The Pro-S1 is built with the same components used in ReVolt Research's own 24-hour production recycling equipment, with serviceable parts rather than a sealed, disposable design. It is made in Nevada, with technical support based in the USA. A manual mode allows experimentation with other battery sizes and chemistries beyond the standard 12-volt lead-acid range.

Extending a working battery's life
Used preventively, about once or twice a year for 4 to 6 hours on a battery that still works, the Pro-S1 can triple that battery's useful life. The treatment runs without removing the battery from the vehicle, so it can be done as routine maintenance rather than a repair.

Pricing when it was sold
The last pricing ReVolt Research published, current as of 2019 to 2021, listed the Pro-S1 at a retail price of $799, with a $649 introductory price. The unit has not been sold since 2022, so that figure is a historical record and not a current price.
Availability
The Pro-S1 was sold through eBay, through a dedicated Shopify store, and in person at the ReVolt Battery Exchange storefront in Reno, Nevada. None of those routes carries it now. This is not a battery charger. A battery will charge as a side effect of the restoration process, but not as efficiently as a dedicated charger, and repeated use to simply charge a good battery can damage it. Use a separate charger for ordinary charging.
The Pro-S1 cannot repair every battery. It is tuned for 12-volt lead-acid batteries, AGM and flooded types, between 1 and 100 pounds. Outside that range, and on any battery whose case has broken open, whose cells have gone dry, or whose contaminants block the electrochemical process, there is nothing for it to restore.
