ReVolt Battery Restoration Systems

ReVolt Research builds three battery restoration systems, all descended from the same bi-phase pulse method described on the technology page: the current single-battery ReVolt Pro-S1, the four-channel ReVolt AuGoose E4, and the original ReVolt3000.

ReVolt Pro-S1

Introduced in 2019, the Pro-S1 is the single-battery system: one 12-volt lead-acid automotive battery at a time, dead or weak. ReVolt Battery Exchange uses it to recondition used car batteries for resale. Full specifications, usage instructions, and safety information.

ReVolt AuGoose E4

A four-channel ReVolt restoration unit with four sets of numbered battery leads — A four-channel unit, built to run unattended on up to four batteries at once.

Also introduced in 2019, ReVolt AuGoose E4 is built to revive multiple dead or weak batteries at once, unattended, on a 24-hour basis. It processes up to four batteries automatically and is meant for a fixed, prepared location rather than field use. Across a 10,000-battery sample, it has recovered or improved 60 to 70 percent of batteries that were not physically damaged, backed by the same field data as the rest of the ReVolt line.

As of its last published pricing in January 2021, a single AuGoose E4 unit sold for $1,600, and the unit is licensed exclusively to ReVolt Battery Exchange store operators as part of a larger store licence package. ReVolt3000

The original ReVolt system, funded on Kickstarter and sold as the Model 1P and Model 1EXP between 2014 and 2015. It is discontinued but still supported. Model history, specifications, and the FAQ.

What none of these can do

Restoration reaches electrical damage, not physical or chemical damage. A broken case, a cell that has dried out, or contamination heavy enough to interfere with the electrochemical process puts a battery beyond what any system on this page can recover.
