ReVolt3000 Battery Maintenance System

ReVolt3000 was the original ReVolt battery maintenance system, first funded on Kickstarter and shipped between 2014 and 2015. It is discontinued as a current product, but it is still supported: the manual remains available below, and ZTech4, LLC still answers questions about units already in service.

Model 1P and Model 1EXP

Two versions were built. The Model 1P, priced at $299 and switchable between 110 and 220 volt AC, was the main Kickstarter reward: the first production run was 100 units, shipping between September 2014 and March 2015. The Model 1EXP, a 110-volt US-only pledge level priced at $300, was far more limited: only 17 were ever built, and that run shipped and completed within about two weeks of starting on June 18, 2014.

What it does

The Model 1P is built primarily for 12-volt lead-acid batteries used in cars, trucks, boats, RVs, aircraft, UPS systems, solar setups, and motorcycles, and it also works with NiCad, NiMH, and gel-cell types. It handles batteries from about 1 to 100 amp-hours.

Two functions share the case. The revive-and-rejuvenate circuit accepts a wider range, anywhere from six to twenty-four volts, while the dedicated no-fault charger is built for twelve-volt batteries only. Both can run at once, each on its own battery.

Frequently asked questions

Does the ReVolt3000 work on lithium batteries?
No. Fire could result. The ReVolt3000 is built for 12-volt lead-acid batteries, and it will run on other types, including gel, AGM, 6-volt flooded lead-acid, 24-volt flooded lead-acid, and NiCad, but its effectiveness on those types has not been thoroughly tested and no recommendations are made for them.
Are other ReVolt3000 models coming?
Further development happened after the Model 1P and 1EXP, which is part of why the newer ReVolt Pro-S1 and ReVolt AuGoose E4 exist today.
Can I still buy a ReVolt3000?
No. The Model 1P and 1EXP were sold only through the 2014 Kickstarter campaign and eBay, and neither is currently for sale. Owners of an existing unit can still reach ZTech4, LLC by phone or email for support, and the manual remains available for download.
